Privacy Policy

Foldie is a laundry service platform operated by Mahy Group LLC (“Foldie,” “we,” “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Local Foldie routes may be run by independent entrepreneurs. They may receive the customer details needed to fulfill pickup and delivery. Day-to-day laundry questions usually go to your local route; privacy questions about the Foldie platform can go to us using the contact below.

Depending on how you use Foldie, we may collect:

• Account details — name, email, password, role (customer, entrepreneur, driver, laundromat), and profile info you provide.
• Contact & service details — mobile phone number, service address, porch/access notes, laundry preferences, and schedule choices.
• Order & payment data — pickup/delivery status, bag details, reviews, and payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers on Foldie servers).
• Communications — SMS/text content we send or receive (for example pickup reminders and SKIP replies), plus related delivery logs.
• Technical data — basic device/browser and usage data needed to run and secure the website and app.

We use personal information to:

• Create and manage Foldie accounts
• Schedule, route, and fulfill laundry pickups and deliveries
• Send service-related SMS (pickup reminders, status updates, review requests, and replies such as SKIP confirmations)
• Process payments and prevent fraud
• Provide customer support and improve the Foldie platform
• Meet legal, security, and compliance requirements

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or buy phone number lists for marketing blasts. We do not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Foldie collects affirmative SMS consent when you provide a mobile number on account signup (or when updating your phone in account settings) and check an unchecked-by-default consent box. The live opt-in flow and exact disclosure language are documented at hifoldie.com/sms.

If you consent, you agree to receive transactional and service texts from Foldie about your laundry service. These may include:

• Night-before pickup reminders
• Service status and support replies (including SKIP confirmations)
• Post-delivery review or referral links related to your service

Message frequency varies based on your schedule and activity (for example, a reminder before a scheduled pickup). Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out: Reply STOP to any Foldie SMS to unsubscribe from Foldie texts. You may also update or remove your phone number in your Foldie account settings where available. Reply START to resubscribe after opting out.

Skip a pickup (not unsubscribe): Reply SKIP to cancel an upcoming scheduled pickup. That does not unsubscribe you from Foldie SMS; use STOP to opt out of texts entirely.

Mobile phone numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchasing laundry service where other contact methods are available, but a mobile number is typically needed for pickup reminders and route coordination.

We may share information with:

• Local Foldie entrepreneurs, drivers, and laundromat partners as needed to complete your orders
• Service providers that help us operate Foldie — including hosting, SMS delivery (such as Twilio), and payments (Stripe)
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security

Providers are only given what they need to perform their services for Foldie.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including service history, legal, and accounting needs, then delete or de-identify it when appropriate.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

• Update account profile details in Foldie
• Reply STOP to opt out of SMS, or HELP for help
• Skip a scheduled pickup by replying SKIP or using the app
• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us (subject to legal retention needs)

Foldie is intended for adults arranging laundry service for a household. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Foldie grows. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
